We writers tend to rely on our visual experiences. This writing prompt asks you to use your hearing.

Take a half hour either inside or outdoors. Don't take mental notes. Simply experience what you hear. Just let sound flow around you. Set your timer for a half hour. As soon as you start the timer, begin writing.
